I have a poll in one of my forums and this is not working.

The poll was posted before I changed the settings; does that effect it?

Maybe some more info for newbies:

Forums are numbered...

Example:
The Forum 'IntegraMOD Modifications' on this site has number 23
You can find that number in the URL when you enter a forum...

URL for 'IntegraMOD Modifications':
http://integramod.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=23

So for the forum you want the poll's on the portal, you have to enter that number on the 'Portal Configuration' settings.
You can even enter more forums seperated by a ','
e.a. 14, 23, 26

But I have a question too...
Only the last poll will be displayed on the portal page...
Is there any way to have more poll's displayed on the portal page?

Did you go into IM Portal, Portal Configuration, Poll Forum ID(s) and put in the number of the forum you put the site poll in?

My poll block is empty, no matter if there is an active poll. Please see:

How do I fill that in for more interactive fun?
