A while back I posted this on the old site but nothing much was done; perhaps people see it as useless .lol.

Anyways when clicking "View posts since last visit" you get a list of unread posts. If you leave them unread and then revisit the list continues to grow and becomes annoying.

So with that in mind I made the following change to my own boards.

This has proved damn usefull and I thought could be included into any future IM releases..........please pretty please.

umm i think this mod wil be very usefull..
mark UNREAD msgs as READ.. jus like in ur gmail account.. <img>

I have to say I find this extremely useful on my site. Check out the new posts that sound interesting and then 'Mark all forums read' and I'm done.

as I find view post since last visit very useful as I like to read all posts.....but sometimes you might be aware for a couple of days and you then find that there are 2 pages of posts to read...

I do not have the time to do this so I have to mark forums read and start again...though it is not a problem to go to the forum and click on the link ..I am also lazy and would prefer to see the above change added...

I would also like to see this. I too am lazy and would prefer to mark all as red and then log out with out having to go through several pages. Especially when I am on dial-up!
