Hello there
i know that in SMF engine, when a you add a post in a thread
and in the meantime someone else add another post to the thread,
when you send your post, the system alerts you that another post has been added

how does phpBB and integra dealing with this situation?

I beleive that currently there is no solution, unless someone has posted one of phpbbhacks. The current situation is if someone posted before you, when you submit you will see your post and hope fully see the previous above.
