[SITE BUG] Unable to vote in polls

PostAuthor: Jacky » Tue Aug 29, 2006 12:47 pm

After I did a test at the Test Forum, it appears that this site does not have the bug fix for the bug which disables you from voting in poll.

It was a known IM 1.4.0 bug, and the fix could be found here.

polls work fine. You had 0 selected for options. It needs to be at least one

This time I am sure I have 1 for "Maximum Selections" when posting my topic.

When I edited my post, I saw that it was a 0 for "Maximum Selections".

This time it's a bug?

No, I didn't say you change it.

When I posted it, I made sure it was 1 options.

Then I went to edit my post.

What appears there is 0 options.

This means that even if you set 1, it will be reset to 0, and you have to edit your post to make it back to 1 again.

So that's why I said it is a bug.

it defaults back to 0 only if you edit it. so....if you edit it, be sure you change it back to the original #

Blah, seems like you still do not understand.

Try making a poll in the Test Forum, with 1 for "Maximum Selections". <img>

Then look at your topic. You will be surprised to see there are no options to vote at all. You HAVE to edit it to MAKE IT BACK to 1.
