I recently tried to rent a dedicated server from http://www.artofwarcentral.com/forums.asp . Yes, I know they are crappy, but they are cheap and have 80 gig hard drives so I could add lots of games. I never intended to drop my 1.6 and Source servers from Nuclearfallout, only to add new games. Anyway, they have ripped me off. Done.. and thanks for the info. I didn't suppose there would be fraudulent companies out there doing this, but it looks like there are.

If you're looking for a good dedicated host, try hostgator.com I used them and was very pleased with their service.
