Ok, another problem and this time it's funny...

I used the exact same code as I did before, just changed the images... now I hhave white crappy space on each of the corners...

I've tried changing the matte on the spacer.gif to black, and even tried filling it in with black..

I'm at wits end... again..

The html:

[code]<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http]

The CSS:

[code]/* Hack for IE to display the margin on #right properly */* html #right {width]

Hmm, that's weird I'll check on it now

Edit: seems that for some reason ":7f289341f7" keeps getting attached to all bbcode I use in the sig. After fixing it, it just randomly comes back. I will remove my sig until I can figure out why it is doing this <img>

ok, just out of curiosity I went and designed a whole new box and it ended up even worse... I dont understand why the "transparent" spacer image shows up white...

a single 1 x 1 pixel image created with PS cs2 as a blank transparent background then saved as 128 .gif dithered and non dithered. It looks good on a white background of course but looks horrible on any dark background.

I realize that i could easily use different code and do away with the spacer images and that's fine, but now that i've ran into this problem it bugs me alot <img>

I have google'd this to death looking for a solution but it seems i am the only one with this problem. Any ideas?
