[SOLVED]Help! Update Screwup!

Okay, so I update from 1.4.0 to .1. Everything goes great and smooth---except all my forums aren't showing, even with a sync. So, a friend tells me that I should be able to fix that problem by uploading my last backup [which was taken this morning]. I do so, and get a phpBB Critical Error--Could not get theme data for themes_id [13]. I opened up a second tab ready to upload the the backup I had just that second made, in case the 1.4.0 backup didn't work, so that I could just just upload the 1.4.1 backup

I'm sure there's an easy fix with it, but I can't figure it out.

I thought I had somewhat fixed the issue.

I had to reinstall the "Install" folder, and run the upgrade.php, and it fixed it so I can access again. But now it's still having a problem with letting me have any other skin

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not get theme data for themes_id [1]

No matter what I do. Even if I install a skin, and set that as the default, I get the same issue.

AND the forums themselves are still gone.

re chmod all your includes/def_*.php files to 666, then try to resync

No dice. Still an error. But now it's even worse. In addition to the theme id error...

Critical Error!
message_die() was called multiple times.
Error #1

I fixed the Critical Error, but I'm still getting the themes error <img>

I deleted the def_*.php files, chmod-ed them again, and re-ran the "update.php"

Well, is there a way I can downgrade back to 140 for now?

Try deleting your files from your cache folder. All except the index.html and .htaccess file. I think the def_tree.php is being cached...
