Signature & banners in our posts
Posted: Tue Feb 20, 2007 2:48 amLately, I start to be rather disturbed when I try to read long topics which are full of banners in the signature.
I understand that everyone is happy to advertise his own forum - I do so, too - but I wonder if limits should not be put. Some banners are twice the height of the text itself, take long time to charge (as often they are on different servers) and finally render the whole forum much less readable.
After all, we are all here to discuss about integrmod, and keeping the topics clear should be a priority. Perhaps only signatures without dynamic banners or even without images should be allowed.
I hope this is not too controversial, but it can be really disturbing sometimes. Especially when you try to read some topics from your work, like in my case now...
Would love to hear about that from other persons. Am I the only one disturbed?
