To fix Alt+S in FireFox 2.x:

Open up a new Window/Tab and type ÃƒÆ’Ã‚ ¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€¦Ã¢â‚¬Å“aboutconfigÃƒÆ’Ã‚ ¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€š

Note that it only works where ALT+S usually would apply [for sending a post or information], such as any vBulletin board, or anything on IM, other than the quick reply box.
