Basically, i have paintballer.ie as my main domain.

I am giving all the colleges who have paintball clubs free webspace i.e. paintballer.ie/dit.

The main forum root is paintballer.ie/
I want to copy IM but change style(to keep settings, but manually delete forums and pics) in to paintballer.ie/dit

I tried to copy the current data base and import it into a new different name.
The with cpanel, i copied all the files and changed the config file as required, but nothing worked. I got 4 lines of error code. The code i have deleted and i cant get it back as i deleted the attempted install.

So before i try again, is what am i doing possible, or can you only have a forum per subdomain or something?

you can have as many as your server will support, however, each will need its own database and cookie settings. CookieMOD is handy for this
