You have to create an animated gif. With ImageReady for example.

two words... Xara 3D

or if you need highly-optimized animated GIFs and you need to create them quickly and easily using all of the features of a professional-level program, then you need to take a look at GIF Movie Gear from Gamani.com.

But, when it comes to my personal preference.. I use Ulead GIF Animator used in conjunction with photoshop elements as its main editor.

There are plenty of programs to choose from.. I suggest browsing to check out demo's and tutorials

the one that I have here and that I use currently on my other website, was made using Alchemy Mind Works GIF Animator

As for the availability of that program anymore, im not quite sure. It is rather old to say the least. And, its payware, so I can not offer you any help there. <img>

I have that and I hate it. Every time I use it, I have to re-register it. I spent quite a bit of time with it till I learned that the things it wouldnt do, could be done with PS ImageReady ...lol
