Just curious as to any updates on when the next version or updated version is expected?

Nothing exact, but wondering how the progress is going.

I believe there was mention that a phpbb3 version was in the works.

Next question would be is the phpbb3 download the guys are working on worth using now, or would it be wise to hold off?

phpbb3 is now very stable, but most mods are not yet.

If youd like to check out what weve been working on (or I should say Michealo has been working on) check the "search archive" link in the board nav block. I ran a test update on it. It is still pretty bare bones, but the portal is the heart of it and it is not quite finished.

That's what I noticed when I checked his sites out. It's coming along, but pretty much still in development.
It had alot of what I was looking for but still a few features that are required, are still in the works.

I'm about to start another site, but looking at all the options.
Trying to decide what to use. I'm so much more familiar to this that I think I might stay with it.
Just need to strip it of the unwanted stuff that will slow a high traffic site.
eg. No photos, or avatars, or rank pics, category/forum pics, remove albums - pics take to long to load.
Remove downloads and just use attachments.
Anything else I can think of as I go.
