PHPBB version in IM download

Which version of PHPBB is included in the IM 1.40 zip file currently in the downloads section?

the current 140 dl is phpbb2.0.17

is there a reason why they never have the phpbb core up to date in the releases (rereleasing the files when needed to prevent new users struggles).

yes there is. It would be a tech support nightmare to have a constantly changing root mod, because for every support request we would first have to find out what version the user dl'd and what the date was and what patches had been applied. 141 is nearly pubic beta and it is 2.0.20
