Linux distro question

Don t need X but MC (Midnight Commander) is essential (have become dependant on it)à¢Ãƒ ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚ ¬Ãƒâ€šÃ‚ ¦ or a small distro with basic X and MC?
