Do we have tutorials here wherein Admin can set country Holidays (or holidays which are repeatedly by years)? So that everytime users visit the Calendar they will know the upcoming holidays.

Thats a great idea, we really need something like "add calendar event like" vbulliten has, where you ca just add events to the calendar and they dont have to be through a forum.

What I did on my forum is to post all events in a special forum which is hidden from members... but whose posts are readable for everyone.

It is working fine, but still it would be easier to have a procedure for simply adding special dates...

I have been working on a block with a flash clock and with automatic holiday announcement by javascript...
But the idea to make something like this work for the calendar is not a bad idea <img>
I wish I had more time...
