Quotes aren't working

What was done to try to solve the problem?

For some reason when you click the quote button at the top of a post and then post it, the quote doesn't appear as a quote. It appears as BBCode in the post. But when you use the Quick Quote button at the bottom of the post, everything works fine.
I don't have any ideas on where to look or what to do about it. Could it have something to do with Advanced BBCode Box? I'm running v6.0.0
