I would suggest that pre-installed mods that are included in the IM package that have updates will be updated here. Also pre-modded downloadable updated files should be available, but a dev or admin should confirm this

Can you clarify what you mean a bit, badboy? Do you mean will MOD updates for MODs that are included with IntegraMOD be available? Or, MODs that are written for IntegraMOD that are addons(available for download from the Modifications forum) be kept up to date?

If you're asking if MOD updates for MODs that are included with IntegraMOD will be released when a new version of said MOD is released by the Author, then the answer is generally a no. That is, it is not generally the development team's responsibility to provide updates to every MOD included with IM as those MOD updates are released by the original MOD authors. However, MODs are updated and even sometimes replaced when a new version of IntegraMOD is released. But, what does happen quite often is that a user will bring an update to the attention of staff, and as a side project a staff member or knowledgable user will provide update instructions for the MOD in question.

Basically, what I'm saying is that officially there are no updates for MODs released, until a new final copy of IM is released, which includes the updated MODs. But, unnoficially, if a request is made then staff(and others) jump at the chance to help out.

Did I just confuse everyone with that or just myself?

As far as upgrades go you have to do them yourself. If they are not a straight forward install then you can request on this site for them to be ported to IntegraMod.

I'm not sure about Admin Private Message Manager or Admin Userlist but I can tell you upgrading the Album Hierarchy Mod is no easy task. I tried upgrading all to it's latest version 3 times and had problems each time. However there is a mod called the Full Album Pack that automatically upgrades Album Cat to the latest version. And Teelk has ported it to IntegraMod.

It's alot of work and something to think twice about is when IntegraMod releases any upgrades, you are going to have to reinstall any mods that you added or upgraded.

Admin Private Message Manager and Admin Userlist should be straight-forward installs I believe. I remember updating them both on my site... if I remember correctly there aren't any file edits, just file replacements. I could be wrong about that, however. It's been a while since I updated them.

as of right now... yep

<img> Here's another wrench in it though... The Hack's List is not 100% correct on version numbers for the mods either, so how do you know if you need to update or not...
I am working on getting it all up to date, but it's a lot of searching and work, and it's time consuming. I don't have a whole lot of free time to begin with....

another wrench... Many of the mods have been customized to allow them to work with other mods and if you are not extremely proficient at php coding, you will kill your forum by updating them.
All mods that have security issues are usually updated right away. Maybe not to full updated versions, but at least enough to apply the security fix.
Here is the thing about IM; anyone can stack mods on top of each other, but you end up with a mix of conflicting mods that sometimes work and sometimes dont. Alot of the mods you see in IM are not installed as per the install directions or they would not work. They have been "Integrated", so updating them is no simple task. Not for anyone.

very true. Unless the new version of a mod has major security fixes or new features that you just really want, it might not be worth the upgrade. If it is then, you can always post here for help, and any one of the hundreds of modders on here will be happy to help out <img>
