Can anyone tell me the easiest way to install integra while keeping the the current structure and members of an already installed phpbb?
I'm hoping this can be done easily but have been unable to find any posts or info in the install docs...
Thanks in advance
Steven

Thanks.. I did manage to find it and you are correct, there doesn't seem to be a simple solution as I thought. I'll attempt it though and see what happens. It will be far from the first time I've been in this position <img>
Thanks for the input

With the help of Adrians<?> well written help files I have
successfully completed the upgrade to 1.32d, first time out thank you. Now am ready to upgrade to 1.4. Should I just follow the same procedure I used to mod phpbb to IM ...or? This is a need to know before I blow the whole upgrade...
Thanks everyone
Steven

After doing the phpbb to IM upgrade everything looks good except for statistics. Guessing that I missed correct permissions on a directory?
Heres the error lines
Warning: fopen("./modules/cache/templates/fisubice/content_values.tpl.php", "w+") - Permission denied in /var/local/vdomains/usfree.net/www/stats_mod/includes/template.php on line 752
Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /var/local/vdomains/usfree.net/www/stats_mod/includes/template.php on line 753
Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /var/local/vdomains/usfree.net/www/stats_mod/includes/template.php on line 754
Warning: unable to create file ./modules/cache/templates/fisubice/content_values.tpl.php because Permission denied in /var/local/vdomains/usfree.net/www/stats_mod/includes/template.php on line 756
Is it possible for anyone to tell me what I missed? The directory structure is there so am a bit lost. Forgive my newbness
also- someone had posted that they were writing a ver1.3x-1.4x_db script. Is this available yet? I couldn't find anything more on it.
Is there a line by line file on the steps to upgrade from 1.3x to 1.4 as I don't use cpanel.
Thanks in advance

Ahh.. there are some extra files that will need to have permissions set on them. I had this same problem. It is only an intermitten occassion with servers.
I will see if I can find those settings and I will post them back here.

This fix worked for me. It is from Adrian. <img> I hope it works, but it should. That is the exact error I was getting.
This is a permissions issue, I think you would find, if you if you set the files in ./modules/cache/templates/fisubice/ and /modules/cache/explain/e2.html it would all come clear. the trouble is it should not need to. Have you cleared and recompiled your templates cache?

THanks guys... I'm sure this thread will help others at the same point I am at. The learning curve on phpbb is one thing but then throwing in IM on top of that is a bit overwhelming... just a bit though <img>
I appreciate the update pack helter...thanks mucho These are one of the things I needed. Do I need to do anything special other than add 2 DB entries to upgrade to 1.4
