old forum in new install

i want to use the im portal with my old forum. is ther a way to use a clean install and import my old database into it???? i must say the im portal is a very easy install thank you <img>

If you don't have a lot of other mods installed, it is fairly easy.

You might try searching for "phpbb integramod upgrade" or "phpbb integramod install". There may be some more detailed answers.

Just export your old db and then import it with "if newer(I believe it is) on it. Basically you want to copy in your forums and things of that nature possibly even your configuration files. try this and see if it works.

otherwise yeah there should be some instructions. I have never had to do that specifically, but that's how SQL works.
