Hi,

does anyone know how to add the topic description to the news block?

Because i want only have topic title and topic description be shown there and cut out the message text. so only headlines are showed on the portal page/news page

not too sure, as i'm kinda new myself but if you go to
news managment>config >news trim length and news trim topic length

if you adjust these hopefully it'll work. if not i'm sure somebody more experienced will come up with the solution
