IntegraMOD

I am trying to change the name on my news. Currently it is: "Integra News" and I need to change it to Chaotic Legion News. I changed it in the IM blocks, but it didn't work. I also checked the news.tpl file and there wasn't anything in there. I've also gone through the archived forums and haven't found a solution, so I am coming to you guys.

Any help would be appreciated.

are your CHMODs settings all correct? did you clear the cache just in case?

Yeah, I've cleared the cache several times.

As far as I know my config settings are all correct. I set them upon installation.

Also double checked the file permissions.

This may have something to do with it though :/

Localize Titlebar should be No to make custom titles...

tmotley is correct. Turn Localized Titlebar off and then it will be whatever you want it to be.

I have to disagree with you all.

When you "Turn Localized Titlebar off " you also disable the titles for other installed languages.

So when you want an other title for one language you have to open the lang file for the block and change the title.

How to change your news Block Title
Go Admin > IMPortal > Blocks Management > and click on the IntegraMOD default page. You will be confronted with a table of the blocks that are visible across most of your board and the two central blocks of Welcome to IntegraMOD and IntegraNews.
Click edit on the line of IntegraNews.
In Block Title: place you News title, such as Guild News.
set Active to yes
Make sure Localise Titlebar is set to No.
This means that your new title will be the same one you set here for all languages.
If you require titles in diferent languages, set Localise Titlebar to Yes and edit the respective lang key

Yes as posted, I have now removed news from the search_stopwords on this site, although it still is not pointing to the correct KB article. But that is a side issue.

I think what Okki means, if you have more than one language, you need to keep the localize titlebar to yes and amend the lang files otherwise each language will see just the same singular title.

He is quite correct. If people on my site don't speak english they are out of luck though heh. Communication in a guild is of the utmost importance. Therefore they need to be able to speak and read english fluently.
