I just completed a new installation of 1.4.0. and after configuring and adding in I forum topics I am unable to post in any forum.

Whenever I click on any forum heading I am sent to an "Important Meassage!" page.

Which is followed by:

The topic or post you requested does not exist.

I've been through all the menu's in the admin panel and haven't found a cause for it.

Any ideas?

You probably deleted the test forum and post

In the admin panel go to:
FTR Management
FTR Configuration
Deactivate this mod, select "yes" and change

You can reactivate it later if you want to have all new registering users read a specific thread (such as a rules thread).

Thanks, that fixed it. I had deleted the test forums.
