Parse Error when upgrading [solved]

PostAuthor: Stephanie » Fri Jul 07, 2006 9:22 am

I promise i searched thru the forums before i asked <img>

I downloaded Integramod 1.4.0 the other day, and wanted to do the upgrade to 2.0.19 so i could install the smiley mod....So I had a unmodded stock board except I have the olympus theme...which i did the updates to that as well.

I did...but i get this error

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/coach9/public_html/forums/includes/template.php(938) : eval()'d code on line 500

Can anyone help please?

Should I have looked in the archive first?

Hi

This usually occurs when there is an error in the cfg file or a template file....

I have seen it before but cannt remember the fix of hand but will have a look for you...

also see if you get the same error when using the fisubice template...

This is a very difficult problem to diagnose. As Found It said it's usually a template issue. More specifically I've seen this issue when a switch in the tpl file is written improperly(usually lower case when it should be uppercase) or one is opened without closing it.

Are you getting it on every page or specific pages?
