[SOLVED]phpbb to Integramod Update...

PostAuthor: napukjon » Fri Jul 07, 2006 11:13 pm

Upgraded my forum back to Integramod....followed the instructions, and seemed to work fine. Getting Error messages when im not logged in saying files are missing, like some for the Mini Cal, and a block for the forum.

When i log in, it says as usual asking me to fill in information as its my first visit since the upgrade, which is all fine and dandy, but when i click any link it takes me back to that page, and doesnt let me go any further.

This is the error message i get when logged out looking at the forum...

Warning: portal_parse_blocks(): Unable to access ./blocks/blocks_imp_forum.php in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/napuk.co.uk/subdomains/community/httpdocs/includes/functions_portal.php on line 233

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

not sure what forum_block is, but it was appearantly installed on your old forum db. Try to upload it from your old forum to your new one. Be sure to upload the php files for it also

what is your php version?
I cannot re-create any of your error messages.

it looks like your running php 4.4.2. so im stumped. Did you completely overwrite all your files with the ones from the update zip and set all chmods correctly? Im guessing it may be a chmod issue, or you have existing db fields, with incompatible data in them. the insert command will error if there is already existing data. If this is the case, Ill see if Mike has time to look and see if we can replace some of the "inserts" with "updates" in the update scripts

Yeah, did everything as it said, uploaded and overwrote as instructed.... I did have some other tables in my DB from my previous site, and this i think brought up errors, but one im not familiar with although have seen...

It said something along the lines of

Error... Column does not match count at row 1

Or something along those lines....

you can run the updates again and look for that error. Of coarse, you will recieve alot of table already exists errors, but those you can ignore.

the first set of errors are to be expected since your re-running your querries, the second set though are deal breakers "Column count doesn't match*" errors means that you must have installed a mod that has altered the tables somehow. I dont know nearly enough db syntax to tech this second hand. If you would like, you can pm me with a link to a copy of your db and Ill try to edit it
