Recently we've developed big big problems on the forum, these are reflected in:

- Posts made by users in certain threads losing the pointers so that using search (or other link) ends up in a post not found message, as the system is trying to send the user or the next message in the queue - that does not yet exist.

- Posts made by users (mainly new ones) are not visible at all, again giving the error message that the post does not exist.

So far we're optimised, synched and repaired each element of the database to no avail.

Anyone any ideas at all?

Due to these problems we're again having to consider moving to a commercial forum system with a greatly increased cost and less features.

Myself and my Admin team have crawled all over PhpBBS with no sign of any solutiuons!

Help - we want to stay with IM, but the way things are going we may not bew able to!

Turned out to be the Mod that puts an advert immediately below the first post. Removed that and all problemsare solved!

So far anyway.
