[SOLVED] How do i remove calender?

Does anyone know how i can remove the drop down calender from the top of the page? Not the forum calender next to the shout box.

Hi Danny13,

You need to remove it from the overall header.

Open templates/yourtheme/overall_header.tpl
FIND and DELETE

Code: Select all

{CALENDAR_BOX}

I have a problem w/this. When I remove it characters appear on the top of my page.

That's certainly odd. Are you saving the file with a standard text editor? The program you're saving it with may be adding some hidden characters. That's the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

Thanks for responding. Unfortuneatley, it's the same basic text editor I use for all other mods and updates, so I don't think it's the problem. I don't understand why it's just me, but I'm thinking there may be another way to remove this link. It's a bit confusing b/c the table is like 93% of the width while the link is prolly 20 pixels wide. Now, I can see removing {CALENDAR_BOX} to be rid of the calendar that appears after it is clicked on, but it just makes me think there's another way. Bad thing is, I have no idea where else to look / lol <img>
