what happend to the coppa under/over 13 splash b4 register?

There used to be a COPPA splash page before a user could register on the forums. It gave two different pages based on weather a user was over or under the age of 13. When I installed my forum it had it, now after applying all the updates I don't seem to have it? Is there possibly an option that may have accidently been switched or does the most up-to-date version just not support COPPA anymore?

Coppa was removed with PCP(profile control panel). According to PCP's author, Ptirhiik, it isn't needed in most countries and is illegal in some(not sure if this is true or not). If you require a Coppa agreement, you can add the 13+ requirement to the board rules, when they register they are agreeing to those rules and therefore it's the same as the Coppa agreement.

You can change the rules from ACP>Forum Admin>Rules.

I would be interested to know what countries this is apparently illegal in.

I actually found it very useful as run a club and require written parental consent for under 16's. I had changed the COPPA section to reflect the age and rules etc. It all worked great until someone decided they didnt want it.

PCP is an overly complicated mess to me anyways....ah well life goes on.
