I make my great pals junior admins and they get banned bcuz sum security ### ### it up! now I deleted their accounts so they can make new ones.... now every1 who regs gets a mod status!!! what the hell is the problem????? I am so ### mad! http://www.rs3.tc-nuke.net! and make more themes for 141! <img> and spellcheck is giveing a blank popup (like the spellcheck theme comes but no words in it!) First of all we do not tolorate abusive language much less tolorate threats because you can't get your forum working.

If you continue with that type of abuse you will be banned from this forum.


next, IM 1.41 is in Beta. This has been very clearly posted. If you are using 141, we do not support it untill it's official release.

Now, As for 140. Please give us some information as to the problems you are having, as well as your host specs.

We will happily help you but only if you are respectfull to EVERYONE in this community.

Also, Did you make any type of backup before attempting this?

I see you are usin RC1 of the beta. So if you did not backup then reversing everything will be incredibly difficult.

Tell us what version you were on before upgrading, then exactly what you did to get where you are now.

What really annoys me about people like you is you have to swear...we have young children on this board who do not need to see you swear like that....

I guess as over 5000 users have managed to install integramod you seem to be the only one having a tantrum as to why you cannot make yours work....

If you had asked for help instead of spitting your dummy out...we would have happily helped you install it or sorted out your problems...but now I guess you will not even post again...

and please read forums about beta versions and understand what it means by not testing it on a live site...

i havent installed 141 yet.. am waitin for the official release.. but from the beta release u can see cristal clearly the following msg:

The Beta release is for the purposes of finding and fixing issues before the final release. This means IT IS NOT for installing for use in a website for public use. DO NOT use it as such. NO SUPPORT will be given for any website running the beta. I was about to give the same suggestion... <img> I had the same problem and it said that i had to change the security, and what do you know.. there is a security tab... like this -> .:Security:.

The problems are now beyond simple settings.

I think he took a plain phpbb upgraded it to 140, then he had what he thought were bugs and he uploaded the beta 141 files over his 140.

So unless he made backups he may be in for a real learning experience.

If he overwrote then definitely more problems to come, however the problems in the first post will be solved if he follows the suggestions.

I can be rude and i can be friendly... this kind of shit pisses people off! I use RC1 i got the MySQL copy if anyone could be so kind and fix it andupgrade it to RC2 without loseing the posts/blocks/ or anything so could anyone upgrade the MySQL backup to RC2? so I just have to upload the RC2 and set the config to the upgraded MySQL db? If any admins could do that or any user, then I would be very happy. thank you very much. <img> sorry did not mean to be rude but it pissed me really off bcuz there was no solution on the system or help files. thank you.

Next. No, you cannot upgrade to RC2 because it is beta. You HAVE to use 140. 141 is in testing and will not be ready for awhile.

If you did just start this foum as 141 rc1, how long has it been live and how many users and posts do you have?

I started with RC1 and I had like 10 users and like 10 posts or so... I have less blocks but much forums like 30 or so only 4 gategorys. Thank you for your kindness and sorry for my rudeness <img>

Well my friend, here is your problem.

IM 141 RC1 & RC2 and any other RC versions are beta, which means they are incomplete and have bugs. This will be eventually be released as Final when everything is running smoothly.

Unfortunatly this means you have to lose all of the work you did and start from scratch using IM 140. There is no way to downgrade you to 140.

The good news is when 141 is released as Final you will be able to upgrade.

What about useing RC2? then when it will be officaly given out I can get my bugs fixed (if there are any that annoys me)

are you able to port my db (RC1) to RC2? (only restoreing gategorys, forums, blocks, posts, configs, downloads, links, albums, users)

you can not upgrade from one RC to another, not to mention we will not support it in any way.

141 is not meant for live use of any kind. You must use 140.

Keep your backup and when we get to final we can look at this again...

upload 140 to a subdomain.. backup ur db from RC1 and insert the db into 140 (to the subdomain) and use a .htaccess file to redirect it to ur subdomain when ppl enter your site.. try this and see if this work (i havnt tested this but its worth of trying).. if u are able to install ur RC1 db to 140 then you wont be losing any posts/topics/users... and finaly wait til 141 official release <img>

No, I've said this several times. We will not do this. We cannot support it. You can attempt what Unregistered suggested but I doubt it will work. But there may be a chance.
