Duplicating a forum

Ive already asked this question, Ive copied my forum to a local test server, ive edited the DB and the config.php file so the site will find a loacl db and everything looks fine. When trying to view a thread i get this error.

The files on my server and my local test server are identicle apart from the server info so i cant see what is causing this. Please can any one enlighten me?

Your test server running MySQL5? Definately looks to be the problem. Can you post the file contents for def_userfuncs_adr.php and I'll give you the changes to the code.

The code change will also work with MySQL4, so if you're trying to make a copy of your site for testing you can safely make these changes to your live site as well.

For the rocord both my host and my test server are using php4 not five, i dont understand why that particular file should be causing me problems on a local host and not a remote one.

Apply all the fixes in the following thread, that'll fix any problems you're having with MySQL5 and a stock install of IM 140.

The problem arises when LEFT JOIN is used in an SQL statement and more then one table is being read from.

If there are multiple tables in a LEFT join, the FROM tables need to be in brackets.
