News block cannot keep SID. How to fix?

Hello, I have News block setup on IM Portal. But there is a problem with it. It cannot keep the SID of visitor login if you click on any link.
For example, if I click on the post title, it takes me to viewtopic.php?t=xxx, but the SID is not in the url. As a result, i automatically got logout.

is there a bug? how to fix? please advise.

Have you set the 'News Mod Index File' to portal.php?
