Does anyone know of a mod that would give every user of a site their own individual space to upload anything of their chosing (within a certain set file size limit)?

You should be able to do that with pafiledb which is in Integramod, altho you'd have to setup a seperate section and perms for each person manually.

I don't know one that is automated.

Ok, how difficult is it to move an existing site over from IMPortal to IM1.4.x?

The database should be all I need to save and then just install IM from scratch and then import the database and then configure. Is this correct? Would their be problems with the database not keeping some of the information (ie, posts, album info, etc..)?

it is not as difficult as it might seem. Just be sure to keep a complete backup of your files and db in case you do have any trouble. If you follow the update instructions to the letter, you should have no trouble, unless your host is using php5, in which case you should wait till 141 is released.

I just used Helters link to upgrade a IMportal board I had set up using phpbb 2.0.21.. for a friend and except for a few (say a dozen or so) table already exsists errors the script ran perfectly, now to do some checking / validating and move it online... PS thanks Helter <img>
