Okay i have 2 problems with my forum
1. There is no New Post button and I made sure I uploaded it but It still isnt there.
2. When i click a section on the forum it says
Important Message! Please read the following post as it contains important update information pertaining to this forum.
And I deleted the topic so when you click on the link, it says
Information
The topic or post you requested does not exist
Is there a way I can get rid of that Important Message thing?
I really hope someone can help me

Hello OS,
1. What version of Integramod are you using?
2. What theme are you using?
3. It sounds like you have FTR (Forced to Read) turned on. If you want to disable this feature go to..
Admin CP -> FTR Management -> FTR Configuration -> Deactivate this mod? "Yes"
Hope this helps,
Frost

Did you just recently install this and make a new site?
Or was it working before and all of the sudden it doesn't work?
Also you said you made sure you uploaded it. This meaning you uploaded the button itself or what?
Sounds to me like you either have an incomplete file/folder somewhere (missing files) or your chmod settings are wrong. Where the button is supposed to be is there nothing there at all?

Thats what I figured, it prevents people from doing anything until they have seen that message.
Glad all is well

Quick Question
Is it possible to force users to read their PMs?... instead of a FTR?
I have users that have messages unread from 6 months back, and they are eating up space.
Can you redirect the FTR to the users in box instead of a topic?
hmmm
I guess I could use the Qbar to hide the links to everything except their in box until they have been read.

Well as far as that goes if I were you, I would simply state somewhere on your board that they can only have so much space for their messages and set the quota limit to something lower.
This would encourage them to check and delete the pm's if they wanted to recieve new ones.

In a perfect world
Just getting them to read them in the first place is the problem.
I think I will try the Qbar redirect route and see how many scream at me

Most are admin messages etc....
I have a few users that are pretty diligent about reading and clearing them.... most only read my classifieds, check launch forecasts, and look at videos and are gone... which is fine... but I'd like to free up the storage space.
