[SOLVED]Update from Phpbb bug

Ok here is my issue. I updated to im from phpbb. The problem I am having is adding new forums to the existing ones that I had before the update to IM. It seems that I cant integrate the new forums into the old ones as I should be able too. I can create new forums but I can only place them above the existing forums or it will let me put it in right under the first existing forum but wont let me move them anywere else. For example I want to create a new forum under the existing ones. It wont let me. New forum has to be above all existing ones or under first existing one only. Any ideas guys.

Is your includes/def_tree.php CHMOD to 666?

LoL and thank u helter. Your help has been more than appreciated. The actual problem I believe is because none of the forums we imported had ever been edited and cached since the upgrade. Once they were cached they could be moved.
