[Solved] weird Prillian / recent topics issue

ok.

For some reason, Prillian is acting really funky for me.

my registered account name is: ZenRei
when i log in that way (case sensitive) prillian doesn't show up... (and neither do recent topics... not the scrolling box on the left, but the static on the bottom in the portal)

but when I log in as zenrei (no caps) prillian and my recent topics come up.

weird, huh?

oh, and there isn't a launch prillian link on my Who's Online block... how do i put it on there?

sounds like you have two accounts in the database with the same name but possibly two different user_ids

Check your phpbb_users table for two usernames or run

select * from phpbb_users where username='zenrei'

I'm willing to bet its going to return two rows. One of them has certain permissions while the other doesn't

How do i get the "launch prillian link" back on my Who's Online block...it's not there anymore.

Go to ACP->General Admin->Qbar and edit the appropriate qbar. You'll see the link.. just give it the right view permissions. That is, if you haven't deleted it.

I might be wrong but I think its a block issue not a qbar issue as he is refering to the who's online block also check what style you are using try it with fisubice and see if it shows there.

i did that, and all themes are doing the same thing

... i looked at the whos online block and it looks like the links are THERE but it's not pulling from it for some goofy reason... do you think an over-write may kick it back into play?

I was looking in the wrong block folder... duh.

I copied the who's online block script in subice and overwrote the block script in acidtech and all is right with the world again
