Number of news items on the portal.

Anyone any ideas what may be causing the number of news articles shown on the portal to stick at 7?

This seems to have taken place since installing the last batch of security fixes. If it has any impact I'm using the 6column layout with the left hand 'header' column hidden.

Changing the number in the IM ACP seems to have no effect.
