Many times I have faced the following message when viewing topic:

Error updating sessions table

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE session_id = 'd8cce212a90932738be16cfc8f203580'' at line

UPDATE phpbb_sessions SET session_time = 1161781987, session_page = WHERE session_id = 'd8cce212a90932738be16cfc8f203580'

This problem only surfaced recently. The version for SQL is MySQL - 4.0.27-standard

you could tryand creal your session table see if that helps
