Upgrading

can i upgrade with out installing integramod first and if so i know it will be version 217 of phpbb so what file er what will i need to do to get it all updated to the latest phpbb2

Hi X-77, First off update you profile and add you web site. Now updating is not as easy as it should be. This is down to the number of mods added to IntegraMod especially Categories Hierarchy (CH) as it make major changes to the code. Even experienced people can have problems updating. Basically there should be a text file containing the edits, these are usually name to reflect which update the file handles i.e. 2.0.17 to 2.0.19 or 2.0.17 to 2.0.19. In addition there is almost always 1 php file to update the database. With IntegraMod updates you never overwrite files you always edit them.

I would wait for the next release of IntegraMod (1.4.1) to save all the hassle.
If you want to try update manually search IM old site and download the update files.
