wierd issues with iframe, font color and a block [solved]

Hello Everyone.
This is my first time posting on this forum. I've been using Integramod for a while now and have been able to handle most things, but I can't seem to figure this one out.
I have a page that I made using portal_body.tpl layout so it should be the same as my other pages
I have a javascript call to a php script inside an Iframe (the only way it would work) on a block. I got the feed to work just fine, except the font color is black and with fisubice black and smart dark so is the background. I have not found a way to fix this yet. If I could make a special block file then I think I could do it that way. It is my understanding from searching this forum that you can't change fonts inside of an iframe though. I'm curious why it would only be black text on a black background on this one block only. In internet explorer 7 the page background switches to white for some reason if that makes a difference.
Here is the link in jpg format because I'm paranoid and unsure of my security on the site.

any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to get this RSS feed usable because the services I've been using (found listed here) seem to get bogged down frequently and slow down my pages. Note this works just fine in fisubice, but I need the font color to work in fisubice black or smartdark as the site theme works best dark.
I'm running Integramod 1.4.0 with phpBB 2.0.21 and security fixes
The php RSS script I'm using to pull feeds from other sites can be found here
-I hope this is enough information and that I have explained my problem sufficiently. Thank you for the excellent software and I hope to hear back from someone in the know soon.
-edit: marking this solved even though I couldn't test this script myself. I believe it would have fixed my problem if the script I was using wasn't encrypted. I grabbed 2 other scripts from hotscripts.com the RSS2html and feed2html they both work and use a template file that is just an html file so it is easy to make it work with a particular style, but they would give me parse errors or other errors 1/3rd to 1/2 the time and RSS-to-Javascript.com worked flawlessly every time. Although not always as fast. Your mileage may vary.
