Cant see my posts

Ok i try to start from the start.

Becouse im not a good coder in PHP i made the decision to delete everything and you reinstall the site and use my backup of the database...

I started 4 days ago and thought it would take 1 day or 2 MAX, but now im so lost, and i dont know what to do...
I have posted a bit here and on integramod.com about having problems with restoring my database, but i think i worked that out now.

I made a clean install of Integra 1.40 again (the old forum was also integra 1.40) and deleted the new database and installed the old database with phpmyadmin.
I have not dont anything on the clean forum....
And when i go to http://www.danishunderdogs.dk/forum/ now i can login with my old user and i can see all the users from the old forum, so something is right.
BUT i cant see my old forum or any of the old posts.

The way i did it i was hoping to get a clean install of integra without any files fucked up but the hacker, and then install the old database and get my old forum back with the users, the forum-structure with all the catagories, forums and sub-forums and all the old posts.

But thats not happened, i got my old users back, i got some of my old Portal back, i got the welcome message but miss the left and right blocks, i had made my own Bard Navigation and more, i can see the file in the ACP but it wont show the left and right side correct.

What i really want to get back on the new forum is our posts, but i really dont have a clue how to do it.

If anyone can help me, i can give you all the info for my ftp and database, i really dont care anymore, i just want my forum back.

As you mentioned on the other site you found a post by teelk that told you the name of the tables you need to add for the post and forums....


if you go to phpmyadmin and select your database (I would make a back up first of your database as it is..)

then go down the list on the left and starting with the first one

phpbb_categories

click on it and then click drop on the right hand side...

it will ask you if that is what you want to do and just hit yes....

if your old database is integramod 1.4.0 then find phpbb categories on the back up file you have copy the table and anything below it for example insert into phpbb_categories

then paste into the box on the right hand side and click on go....it will tell you that the dat has been added...

do for all the tables you need and thats it...

you will have to resycn your forums...but everything will appear

at the bottom of the page on the right you have 2 buttons create new forum or resync

hit the resync

ahhh ok, thanks for your answer.
But i gave up yesterday, and just made a clean install and move the most important posts by hand from the old forum to the new.

My forum is not as active as this one, thank god for that <img>
