number of users limitation

PostAuthor: jd » Sat Apr 29, 2006 6:32 pm

I use phpbb 2.0.17 at the moment, I have tried to upgrade to integramod but encountered several errors so instead I tried building a new site with an empty db using integramod and I transfered the users data manually using my sql.

Is there any known user limitation using integramod?
My old site contains approximately 12000 users, once Ive transferred the users data i tried to open the sites main page and it just got stuck (explorer not responding).
So I removed some of the users (went down to 2000 instead of 12000) and now the new site works fine and recognizes the users Ive added.

Any ideas anyone?

i.e. I would be glad if someone can also refer me to a convenient manual to upgrade from phpbb 2.0.17 directly to the new integramod version and a place to download the proper upgrade files (from phpbb 2.0.17 - integramod).

I now updated and use phpbb 2.0.20 I tried to upgrade to integramod 1.40 but all I got after I updated is blank screen in the explorer window.
Anyone have any ideas on that?

I used the update_to_last.php file and the premodded files, was there anything else I should have done?

Wow 12000 users.. LOL I am sorry but I can not test that theory. I don't know 12000 people to sign up to my site.

And yes if you are trying to go to IM 140, there is a certain path you have to take.

http://integramod.com/forum/portal.php?page=9

That will get you started. It is the Safe Upgrade Manual on the left below the Nav bar here. You can't just Install Im140 and migrate over. Not and keep your data at least.
