Problem with private message

when i send an private message i have an error message
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 184320 bytes) in /var/www/sdc/b/3/forumtrium/includes/def_qbar.php on line 924

i have integramod 1.4, please help me.

we used to have this problem with our old hosts, raise a ticket and ask how much php memory is allocated, be specific in that request as we found not every support person knows what is meant.

You need at least 12Mb I believe for Integra mod 1.4, we had to move hosts, some will increase the memory if asked

thanks but ist not an old host and i can't change the allocate memory, its strange because its only when i send private message.

maybe i can used the private message from phpbb 2 defaut but i don't now how to do that...

Find

define('PHPBB_INSTALLED', true);

after add

ini_set("memory_limit","12M");

sorry it doesn't work, if i disable some mod i can have more memory but how disable some mod...

I dont think you can increase php memory allocation if your host is restricting it. I spend some time finding a host that allocated enough, most were down at 9MB.

Do you have prilian installed? could remove that. or I would think anything that uses scrolling etc must be using memory?
I had a thread on this on the integramod boards no one could really come up with a fix other than get a host with enough memory <img>

i havn't install prillian , i test to use the private message from phpbb 2 defaut forum to replace the integramod private message system. if you have an other idea...

Well as i see you are from france and under Free am i wrong ?

There is no way to fix this probleme if you are testing under the Host Free.fr

yes i am under free, so i have instal a script for pm to replace the out of order system
