Alright, I've got a personal album running on my forums, and no one can comment or rate images... In the ACP the settings are set so that they can rate, but no links to rate an image...

Is this a broken feature?

Current version IM: 1.4.0

when you click ona category and the pictures show up as thumbs, you will see some things that look like this:
Pic Title: Ex...name of pic
Poster: you
Posted: 14 May 2006 05:20 am
Viewed: 18
Rating: No rating
Comments: 0

Click on the link that is the pic title and it will open up another screen that has a comments box and a rating pulldown box as well. Hope this helps ya....Have a nice day/night.......Ray

Oh and P.S. Be sure you have ratings system turned on as well....

yea it's turned on, but the picture title isn't a link...

[Edit] - "Album" picture titles are, but the links in the "Personal Albums" are not.

I fixed it...

Open:
album_personal.php

Find (Line 326):

Code: Select all

'TITLE' => $picrow[$j]['pic_title'],

Replace With:

Code: Select all

'TITLE' => '<a>' . $picrow[$j]['pic_title'] . '</a>',

On my site, main Album pics can be rated by clicking on their titles. Clicking on the picture is the same as clicking the picture title.

On Personal Albums, you rate them the same way. You just have to click on the picture instead of the title. Here's how personal album pictures are rated.

Click Personal Albums
Click on a member's name to view their album pix
Click on a thumbnail of a picture
Below the enlarged picture is a 'Post your comment' area where you can rate the image. Look for a 'Please rate it' dropdown selection just above the comment area.

I dunno why it wouldn't work right... Personal Albums, when you clicked on the image uploaded, it just took you to the picture itself, nothing else, just the selected picture... Like if you were to right click it and select to view the image, that what it did... No idea, fixed now though <img>

I think I was having the problem too..but it gives me a blank page even after I replaced the files you stated.

Yeah mate, I've also replaced the code as you suggested and now I get a blank page by clicking the link.
