Whilst navigating through the site users are starting to see "No posts exist for this topic" errors when using the pagination system to move through for posts.
This is occuring both from the search for new unread messages and also in the view_topic areas.
The only reference I can see to it is on PhpBBS here:
http://www.phpbb.com/bugs/viewreport.ph ... 4ae3aa8f03But no fix is offered. I've tried resyncing all parts of the forum with no success at all. So does anyone know of a solution?
Cheers.

Well the users are driving me nuts over this one and we are getting folks ceasing to post saying the forum is unusable.
I're checked all tables for integrity and used all tools I can think of - does no good.
Anyone any ideas of how to fix?

I had that problem on an old board, and never did get it fixed, short of locking the affected threads and starting new ones in their place.

try going to ACP, Forum Admin, Management, and resync the forums a couple of times, this may help
There is also sync users posts in an admin's board navigation menu

Hi Ade, tried those already numerous times and makes not a shred of difference I'm afraid.
Looked all round the net and can see loads of references to the problem......
.... but I can't find any solution anywhere.
I hate to say it but I/m starting to think of alternative software to IM, as PhpBBS / IM are good but when problems like this hit a good 20% of the active threads online and no one can fix them...
Well it affects the users coming back, three so far have said they will not return until the issue is fixed <img>
