Hello there

I've just finished one issue now, i have got two more to solve,

First one, even though i have selected French as a default language in ACP
the weird thing is, when i connect to the site i get it in french but as soon as i login everything turns in english, why is that?

Yes the french is installed, chmoded you name it it's there.
i even created a second user to try it with the same thing happens. what can i do please?

My second problem is with images, everytime i try to upload an image, i get an error message that either the image is too large, which i can accept, or an error failed to open stream access denied to album_upload.php, i know you're going to say it's a permission issue, well let me tell you the permissions are set correctly, so it is not a permission issue unless, it requires the permission inside the file album_upload.php

i mean to open the file and set some sort of permissions, i don't know.

Any ideas you bright guys out there?? <img>

There are a couple of things you can check.

First:
Profile -> Profile -> Your Profile -> Profile Settings
Check that your Board Language is set to French

If that is set correctly, but still showing English, go to:
ACP -> General Admin -> Configuration + -> Profile Options -> Profile Settings
Make sure the language is set to French
Beneath that, check the appropriate button for "Override User Choice"
Yes = Will always show the site in French, regardless of a user's setting
No = Will allow the user to select between English and French

you were right, actually i am not worried about my own profile, cause i prefer it in english personally, only most of my visitors don't speak a word of english, sad i know <img>

they were complaining that is in english, but the thing is the first site i made i didn't have to do that, all i had to do is select in ACP >General admin, selected French there and everything was in french but not this time lolll
