Annoucements not displaying....

Hi all, i looked in the old forum ( archive ) but i found nothing on this, so here goes.

I have it set up so that it gets the annoucements from every forum ( originaly it was only forum id 1 but that didnt work either ). Annoucements were displaying fine, but now they dont. I dunno if it has something to do with {S_HIDDEN_FIELDS}, which i added to the user_user_block.tpl file to make it compatible with the Olympus login mod. After that annoucements just stopped working. That is the only edit that "could" affect it so i just want to know, what else could it be? because ( unless like i stated above) the hidden fields has something to do with it, it should not be affecting that at all.

Please respond...

PS: Deleted {S_HIDDEN_FIELDS} and its still not working...
Did some resyncing as well, to no avail.


Any help would be appretiated.

is this issue in all styles including fisubice or is it just bblite?

EDIT: Found people with the same problems in the Archive, but none of those fixes work.

uploaded new annoucement blocks and portal blocks but it still doesnt help.

I don't have a solution to your announcements issue but your next topic button doesn't show for me.

I suppose we could ask what you have in IMPortal Configuration for the three settings...

Did you have the announcements working previously with the same theme you are now using?

I think im gonna re-install the whole thing and then restore the info from a DB ( or just re-create everything...and install the themes again ) without upgrading to phpBB 2.0.20 ( or not using the premodified files this time )....ill tell you how it goes, if it works it must be a problem with the upgrade's pre-mod files.
