Please i need more informations

i have already phpbb plus 1.53 intalled,so my question is:
can i intall the integra mod without fearing of loosing my data or my site,or do i need to unistall phpbb plus 1.53 for enabling the integra mod,if so i wont risk my site for this mod <img>
