My members and i have before the update to 1.41 used the youtube mod to link to quiet a few videos on youtube. Now all of them are just showing a white screen. I have tried editing them, redone the mod just to make sure everything was in right. When clicking on the link to the site video, this pops up on the page on Youtube: "The url contained a malformed video id." Video files which either i host on my domain or my members link to there own on there sites are still working fine. Anyone any ideas, i would hate to have delete all these files. I had an idea since we had problems with long album names and forum names before i put the fixes in, that CTracker is doing the same thing with the rather long URLÂÂÂ ´s that youtube have. Anyone any idea of a fix, CTracker is not showing anything about it <img>

The videos on youtube are located like this:

http://www.youtube.com/v/10VmJ-8XGA4

They have 425 x 350 size.

Your previous mod probably allowed only putting in the last part of the code. As a fix on the previously posted videos, you could just change each one to standard video bbcode with the full address in there.

what you now see is what i get on my board, i clicked on insert video file bbcode set the size to 425 X 350 and as you can see nothing. Here is the code:

You have to get the full url from the 'embed' code on youtube... but it's always the same I believe. It's http://www.youtube.com/v/ and then the specific code for the video.

The code on yours is hNxhrPaaCA4 at the end so the url is:

[code]http]

Use that as the url in the video bbcode inputs and bingo.
