Hi folks, I realise this is a kind of weird question, but is there a way to change the background (or font colour) of the IP different warning box on the main index page?

I've got LCARS as a theme and white text on pink background is... ewww I don't really want to alter the main font colour, so changing the background of the CTRACKER IP warning box would be my preferred alteration. Its ok in the other themes, just LCARS.

I had the same problem, there's no specific class for ctracker messages in the standard css, here's the procedure to add one by your own:

OPEN /templates/yourtheme/yourtheme.css

AT END, ADD]
[code]/* Cracker Tracker messages text -  Add by Whisky */.ctracker{font-size]
Adapt the color code with whatever you want of course


[b]OPEN /templates/yourtheme/overall_header.tpl

FIND
[code]<BEGIN><br><div><table>     <tr>         <td align="center" style="background-color]
REPLACE WITH]
[code]<BEGIN><br><div><table>     <tr>         <td align="center" style="background-color]


[b]SAVE AND CLOSE

Btw, message to admins: it would be nice to add this hack in the next IM version because not everybody uses a light background.

Ok Im glad I found this I use the dark red template and yuck....

So waht Im after is, how do I change the background and font colors for both. The ip tracker message AND the Global Message. Thanks in advance

Look at the files, a lot of it is html. I looked them over but I don't remember the file names.
Also I knew of no way to make that work with what Whisky had done. <img>

yeah I tried it every way possible in the css file for dark red and it was a no go. I can find in the tpl file where it calls for the color, but I cant find the file that the colors are defined in. I searched lastnight in my files for almost 2 hours and searched here through the threads at Integramod as well and came up with this one.

If I figure it out, I'll let ya know. Because as it is, I would never EVER use the global message system with the Dark templates and Im half tempted to disable the pretty pink IP box as well until I get it figured out. <img>
