A possible addition???

Just wondering, if this could be added to the ACP?

If you look at ACP>CrackerTracker>Maintenance & Tests, you can visually see CHMOD777 Status

Could there be a page somewhere in the ACP where all the files in the setup of new sites, the 666 and 777 settings, could be displayed like the above, so you can just look and see the status of all the files and folders.

Quicker than checking every file through FTP. Then when moderators need to know if everything was CHMODed properly, the user can check this page and see if everything is OK or if something is INCORRECT.

That is probably the best feature addition idea I have seen in a long time. Unlike most feature requests that usually just help the "requestee", this is a general user function to help new users, as well as mods/devs here on the site.

As soon as my host returns from wherever the hell he went :( )

I like this one too... was even thinking about it myself. Would even be handy if a tool would be available that can properly check and apply all necessary CMODs where necessary.
All that would be required from client side is making all files and folders 777... this should give the scrip enough authority to the close down all that needs protection, or am I wrong here? It's simply a revered apporach, sort of.

This is an old topic, but it would be really useful... Perhaps for a future version <img>
