AJAX??

PostAuthor: Dioncecht » Fri Sep 15, 2006 8:47 am

Way back when before Integramod2, Wekke was talking about adding some features of AJAX in. Does that mean that AJAX will work with Integramod?

I'd like to have some of these features it offers, but I dont know how to adjust things so that it works with PCP among a few other things. Anyone ever get this fully functional?

I tried installing "AJAXED" in an integraMod test site a few months ago, and was only able to get about 70% of the AJAX functions installed and working properly.

I would suggest asking CRX Games for advise on using and installing AJAX. I hear he is fairly educated on the subject.

Driver what exactly did you get working? I used Ajaxed and got the search functions, the quick edit, and userlists stuff working but im having problems getting the topic review working and some of the mod functions.

I tried integrating this a short while ago as well. Many of the functions translate without a lot of work, while other just don't work at all and seemingly without reason. As soon as my todo list shrinks a little, I'll look at this again.

Thanks teelk. One of the reasons I originally went with phpbb plus was because of the ajax functions. The problem I had with phpbb plus was once I installed a fresh copy of PCP for some reason every copy I have of PCP, the quote functions in PMS does not work properly and I can't seem to make it work. I got the inline editing working using this mod:

http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/6669

I got the group edits working, and the inline editing with quick edit but other than that I got lost. Screwed up my viewforum and then set it back because of problems I was having. One problem I have with the inline editing is it moves the left side down to expand the space. Is there anyway to make the left side stay on the top? Also above the edit box there is a : that I can't seem to get rid of.

I'm so happy though that you guys finally got IM 141 working with php5. I had been waiting a whole year to install IM because it wouldn't work with my server.

I think Ajax would be a great addition to Integramod. At least the inline editing when you look at this teelk can you perhaps change the edit button so that instead it does the quick edit inline editing <img>.

Also I couldn't get the topic review part working as well as the quick edit of subjects. This Ajaxed .script would be good for integramod

Oh, I didn't even know about that one. I was trying to integrate the one by cback found on this page.

I'll take a look at AJAXed when I get a chance(never know when that might be).

Yeah teelk I tried that one first but it didn't do me any good with the changes IM 141 has. I figured out what parts of the functions_topics_list to edit and etc it just didn't work right. Ajaxed might be a lot easier I've found some of the integrations worked easier than ajax features.

I'll have to go back through my edits of IM mod and post them so some people have somewhere to start. Would it help if I instead just send you my premodded files and you see what you can edit from there? The only thing I've added since I installed the board was the advanced colors mod.
